June 22nd, 2007

A unique program, Cirrus Access, has been developed by the manufacturer of the world's best selling airplane and leader in Aviation higher education. The program allows a person who is not a licensed pilot to purchase an airplane and hire a certified flight instructor and corporate pilot in one convenient package. Flight training can also be conducted during each flight if desired by the client. This allows a buyer to learn how to fly while utilizing an aircraft for its original purpose - travel and convenience. CATS 2

June 22nd, 2007

A new version of the Cirrus Aircraft Training Software (CATS) is now in production! Pilots will soon be able to learn about their Cirrus aircraft in a whole new way. CATS 2 provides Cirrus pilots with an engaging and easy to use reference for learning their aircraft inside and out. This completely overhauled version of CATS includes an updated visual interface, a redesigned checklist training system, updated system information, and the ability to configure the software to match your particular aircraft and equipment.

While the organization and content of CATS 2 closely matches that of the Pilot's Operating Handbook, the software offers much more. Animation, sound, and interactive simulations involve the pilot in hands-on learning. System schematics that respond to control inputs enable easy visualization of how the systems work. Checklist practice exercises further prepare pilots for real-world operation of the aircraft.
